Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is another option to resolve pain and tightness in the body. The instruments  also make it easier to detect and treat fascial dysfunction, triggering an inflammatory healing response through the introduction of controlled micro trauma.  We regularly utilize IASTM to promote healing in chronic tendon injuries including tennis elbow, Achilles tendonitis, and rotator cuff issues.
