Rurik Bracket PT, DPT

Rurik (Roar-ik) was born and raised in Maine. He attended the University of Maine and received his bachelor’s in music performance with honors in 2014. He was drawn to pursue a career in Physical Therapy after he went through treatment himself for a shoulder injury. This personal experience ignited his passion for helping people heal from their injuries. He then went back to school at the University of New England and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2023. During his time in school, he completed a wide variety of clinical rotations, treated patients in outpatient clinics and as well as treating patients in a hospital setting directly after surgery, post stroke and post heart attack.

Rurik focuses his treatments on a variety of manual techniques, including instrument soft tissue work, and corrective exercises to improve strength, flexibility and stability. He focuses on returning his patients to their preinjury abilities.

When not treating patients, Rurik enjoys walks, lifting weights, listening to music and spending time with cat.
